SOCAL is an XPA, an Extra Pale Ale, a beer style that originated in Australia and is intended to be clear, refreshing, and easy to drink while allowing plenty of room for modern hops. And since we love connections at WhiteFrontier, this version comes from the mind of Johnny, our new Swiss-Californian brewer, who gives it a pronounced West Coast twist. Hops: Strata, Simcoe, Mosaic Cryo, and Hyperboost for an intense aroma profile that combines ripe citrus fruits, tropical fruits, and resinous notes. The malt base remains delicate and subtle, the texture is clear, and the dry hop is expressive yet controlled. SOCAL is a sunny, direct beer that is meant for immediate enjoyment.
