Beer description
Our house stout brewed all year round!
Finest Maris Otter malt is blended with a variety 8 specialty malts creating a dark beer notes of nutty biscuits, dark berries and coffee. Additions of Kentish Fuggles and Challenger hops during the boil add notes of nettle and spice as well as a moderate bitterness.
We of course also add a hefty amount of whole whitstable rock oysters during the boil. This lends a subtle minerality and salinity to the beer giving it a delicious unique umami edge.
