Beer description

French Bred (French Country Blonde Ale 5.5%) is an easy drinking, and rusticly inspired beer that finds its roots in the French countryside of yesteryear. French Bred is brewed with a variety of kilned malts and adjuncts, including pilsner malt, Munich malt, malted wheat and flaked rye. This combination was intentionally combined to create the image of a freshly baked piece of crusty homemade farmhouse bread. It was then fermented with a French yeast strain historically used to make Biere De Garde, which displays cleaner fermentation characteristics than it’s Belgian cousin: Saison. We then chose a light, non-traditional dry hop combination of noble (Hallertau Mittelfruh) and new world (Amarillo) varietals to create a combination of grassy and citrusy notes to balance out the bready malt notes and mild esters
