Beer description
Rich and luscious barleywine built on a simple malt base, double mashed and boiled for nearly a day and a half to develop a fullness and complexity that would stand up to an extended slumber in barrels. Aged in freshly dumped peach brandy barrels for over 21 months. Deep notes of peach cobbler, creme brulee, toasted oak, maple candy, and a warming boozy finish. This massive, yet approachable beer emerged from the barrels as close to perfect as we could have wished for and is served to preserve its velvety smooth character.
