Beer description
A golden barrel aged ale wholly fermented by a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from native flowers from NSW refermented with organically grown blueberries from Fossil River Farm at Petcheys Bay, Tasmania. Lovely (and painstakingly) handpicked by Chris.
Such a great beer, honestly... its a warranted divergence from our usual, NSW-only whole fruit 'rule' at Wildflower. Last year's batch was so vinous, so much Pinot Noir... this year we followed the same techniques but the fruit shows more of its own character, it is more primary and actually reminds me more of blueberries themselves. Really makes we want to make a blueberry + Pinot Noir fruit beer though. Colour is just as intensely purple.
