Beer description
This release marks the fourth and final release of this beer under this label. As of 2023, St Thomas will in many ways replace Rose Gold as we are now making St Thomas with a Gold base rather than an Amber base. Thomas '18, '19, '20, '21 and '22 were all made with sour morello cherries on Amber.
There still is a small difference, though, that Rose Gold was always made with 100% destemmed cherries while St Thomas 2023 will have a component of cherries which had the stalk remaining. While we are changing the base beers, I wanted to keep an element of the old Thomas with the new and so there will be a minty, fernet edge to Thomas '23 from these stems
