Beer description
A soft acidity and impossibly complex flavor profile characterize this Flemish classic. Dark malt gives the beer underlying chocolate, walnut, and dark fruit. Over two years of true souring in port barrels creates a delicate caress of tartness and greatly accentuates the fruity particulars-carving out room for notes of fig, date, cherry to carol their voices through the great easement of the humming malt landscape. Aged two years in Port barrels, then aged three months in freshly dumped bourbon barrels.
