Wren House Devil's Claw

The Devil's Claw is an Imperial Porter blended from various barrel-aged versions (different oak barrels, rum barrels with prior whiskey filling, bourbon barrels). Almost black, dark brown beer with a small beige head of foam. In the smell one finds much caramel and roasted malt, in addition to it chocolate and a little Bourbon with slight alcohol note. Caramel and chocolate dominate the taste, as well as dried fruits, bourbon and warm-alcoholic notes. Röstmalziger finish.
