Zwanzger - Polar Pils

This unfiltered Pilsner is a modern interpretation of the classic, which gets a particularly fresh and characterful twist through cold hopping with the Polaris variety. With a moderate alcohol content of 4.5%, it is slim, drinkable, and ideal for lovers of hoppy lagers. By foregoing filtration, the beer presents itself in the glass with a light, natural haze (opalescence). The color is a bright straw yellow, crowned by a strong, creamy foam head that remains particularly stable thanks to the hop oils. The Polaris hop clearly takes center stage here and gives the beer its distinctive profile: "Glacier Ice Effect": Typical for Polaris are cool notes of mint, menthol, and eucalyptus, which give the beer an exceptional freshness. It finishes with a crisp, long-lasting bitterness, which gains a spicy depth from the essential oils of Polaris. A "Polar Pils" for those who like it bitter and extremely refreshing. The combination of the unadulterated nature of an unfiltered beer and the modern mint aromatics make it a special experience, without losing the drinkability of a classic Pilsner.
