Alibeer

Thessaloniki Microbrewery is the first microbrewery in Thessaloniki. We are 4 friends and old classmates, Antonis, Nikos, Thomas and Lina. Antonis is a chemist and the rest of us are Agronomists-Food Technologists. Ali is our beer. The idea of Ali came up several years ago, during our studies. The stimuli we got during our postgraduate studies in the Netherlands was the beginning of the bug! Slowly, we discovered the different types of beer, the concept and culture of microbrewing and started experimenting by trying out recipes on a homebrewing level. In the later years, we each followed our own path and gained different work experience in the food & beverage sector. We travelled a lot, worked abroad, came in contact with new stimuli and finally the combination of these experiences and our common love for beer led us to build our own brewery in our city, Thessaloniki, and thus start our common journey.
