Description
A lot of experience and a sure instinct in the art of brewing guarantee the maintenance of the high quality standard that beer connoisseurs rightly expect today. Only natural raw materials from the local region - true to the German Purity Law of 1516 - are used in our beers. In an old tradition, we use the water from our own well for brewing, which contributes to quality assurance.
“Herzog von Franken”:
The entrepreneurial adventure began on July 1, 1998, with the first brew at the brewery in Thüngen, based on the brewing tradition of the Barons of Thüngen since 1697. The courage to do so came from the owner and certified farmer Hanskarl Freiherr von Thüngen, together with Thüngen master brewer Dieter Beutel and Dr. Susan Schubert, owner of the Arnstein-based Max Bender Brewery.
