Description

Originally Baltika was a joint venture of a Finnish and a Norwegian beverage company. The foundation took place in 1990 in Sant Petersburg. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and the application of advanced technologies, we have been able to grow very fast. Already in 1996, it became Russia's largest brewery and currently has a market share of around 35%. The beer is now exported to more than 75 countries worldwide, including Western Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. The majority shareholder of the company today is Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH), which in turn has been owned by the Danish Carlsberg brewery since 2012.
