Description
The BeerTasting Community Award is not decided by a jury of experts - but by the community. After all, what expert judges rate as “good” does not necessarily have to be to the taste of beer lovers. In an anonymous blind tasting, the beers are rated directly by consumers via the BeerTasting app. This shows which beers really appeal to the public. Not every brewery is allowed to take part: only those who have previously qualified with a win at the European Beer Star, won the Community Award in the previous year or achieved particularly high ratings in the BeerTasting app are admitted. The Community Award is therefore comparable to the Champions League of beer: only the best of the best enter the race!
