Description

Brewing tasty beers requires quality ingredients, modern brewing equipment and experienced specialist staff. But the most important ingredient is and remains the love of the product. A feeling for the matter, dedication and passion, patience and serenity ... all of this flows into our product, all of which you can taste in the end. We live beer! Although Bergquell beer has been brewed since 1846, the farm was for a long time a pure regional brewery. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary - 1996 - the new building in the industrial estate Löbau-West was inaugurated. When Steffen Dittmar took over the management in 1999, the annual output was 7,000 hectoliters of beer. Within a few years, the company developed into one of the most modern breweries in Europe with a current annual production of about 200,000 hectoliters. Committed to the Upper Lusatian brewing tradition, regionally popular beers are brewed as well as newly developed, distinctive specialties. With the brand "Lausitzer Porter" Löbauer effervescent specialties gained nationwide popularity and popularity. Since then, the beer lovers throughout Germany can really convince themselves of our credo while enjoying our products: we live beer! During the long and turbulent company history traditions are created consciously and lovingly. Today, 12 Percheron cold-blooded animals belong to the brewery community, with which our draft beer is delivered weekly by brewery coach. The neat fleet of wagons is an optical highlight at numerous festivals and parades. We enriched this tradition with the creation of a "Trabi-serving fleet", which is unique in its kind. Here is the motto for us: We live beer ... and love tradition!
