Description

Ramstein has a long brewing tradition, among other things, there was an inn and the Stuppy brewery in today's Museum im Westrich, the old town hall, for over 200 years. In the cellar of the estate of mayor Ralf Hechler there is still the former beer cellar, which served as an air-raid shelter during WW II. We take up this tradition of beer production in Ramstein-Miesenbach again and produce, light beer, dark "bread beer" and wheat beer. In the production of "bread beer" 30% bread is used, in the form of old bread from a regional bakery chain. Most of the spent grain is given to a farmer and to the Siegelbach Zoo as animal feed, and a small part is used by a baker to make beer buns. We thus take the principle of sustainability to heart, conserve resources and support the zoo in our region. Our brewer Christian originally came to the beautiful West Palatinate from Kempten in the Allgäu region for love. He has now turned his previous hobby into a profession and has acquired the certificate as a home brewer at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Upper Franconia in Bayreuth and in Kulmbach respectively. Enjoy our wholesome house beers with the well-known tasty meals of our restaurant.
