Description

The centuries-old tradition of brewing beer in Aisch, which is one of the oldest settlements in the Aischgrund and takes its name from the local river, has been preserved to the present day. The ancient brewery was brought up to date with the latest brewing technology in 1984. Despite all the innovations, Rittmayer beer is still brewed using pure natural aromatic hops and selected brewing malt in a traditional brewing process passed down from master brewer Alois Rittmayer to his son and owner Thomas, who has been running the brewery since October 2015. As in the old days, mainly home-brewed beer is brewed and distributed to anyone who has their own keg and suitable storage facilities. Home-brewed beer is a beer that is well hopped, yeasty and not yet fully fermented. This is why it is highly appreciated by real beer connoisseurs. Furthermore, the beer for our restaurant is tapped directly from the brewery's storage cellar for our restaurant through an almost 50 meter long, cooled beer pipe. Connoisseurs appreciate this “Aascher Wasser”, which is served in the cozy guest rooms and in summer also in the shady beer garden.
