Peter Wiegärtner joined his parents' business. In 2009, he completed the master brewing and malting examination at the international brewing school "Doemens-Technikum" and immediately thereafter began to lead the Hufeisen brewery's range of products towards the future with new ideas. Within a very short time, he has managed to offer the Pottensteiner Urdunkel, which has been brewed over 5 generations, in organic quality with immediate effect. In general, the Hufeisen brewery is increasingly focusing on organic. In the next step, the other beer types such as "Hufeisen Kellerweizen" and "Pottenstein's Premium Pils" will also be converted to organic.
