Description
The brewery-inn "Mainlust" has a long family tradition and is located in a fantastic location near the world heritage city of Bamberg with its famous sights.
In the "Mainlust" you are a guest in a family-run house. The house has been owned by the Bayer family for over 170 years.
In 1849 Georg Bayer and his wife Dorothee bought the inn near the river Main in Viereth, Upper Franconia. He was followed by Hans Bayer with Klara and Theo Bayer with wife Rosalinde. Each generation of the family devoted much passion and commitment to the inn.
Today, the inn is run by two generations of the family: Helmut Bayer and son Ludwig with wife Kerstin. Ludwig Bayer has been the brewmaster since 2006 and the general manager since 2009, assisted by his wife Kerstin, a trained cook, hotel manager and business economist for the hotel and catering industry.
With the 3 daughters Klara, Hanna and Linda, the next generation is already ready to lead the "Mainlust" successfully into the future.
