Description

Today, the coveted Rechenberger is brewed and bottled in a newly constructed, modern brewery. Everything—from raw material reception to bottling, including the storage hall for draft beer and retail products—was built from the ground up. The new building was successfully integrated into the landscape without significantly altering it. Great care was taken to adapt the new brewery to the existing tree population. The buildings are sunk up to 10 meters into the ground. A new deep well supplies the prized soft, crystal-clear brewing water. Traditional brewing methods, modern techniques, and the experience of many generations of brewers are further guarantees of the exceptional quality of Rechenberger beer. The historically valuable buildings and facilities of the old brewery have been preserved as a technical monument and made accessible to the public as the “Saxon Brewery Museum Rechenberg.”
