Brauereigenossenschaft Holzkirchen

In 1925, 30 farmers from Holzkirchen and the surrounding area came together. Under the leadership of pastor Alois Daisenberger, they founded the "Holzkirchen Brewery Co-operative". From the very beginning, their bottom-fermented beer specialities enjoyed great popularity among an ever-growing fan base. The high quality and deep-rooted brewing tradition have been preserved to this day, as the beers of the Holzkirchner brand are still brewed according to original recipes from the founding period in the Holzkirchen brewery by König Ludwig GmbH & Co. KG Schloßbrauerei Kaltenberg brewery.
