Description

The old brewery was converted from the small hammer by Faktor Heinze around 1580. The owner had already been granted the right to brew and serve beer at the time of its foundation. However, it was only exercised after the reconstruction of the Hüttenschänke in 1586/87. Until well into the 19th century, beer was brewed here for the needs of the smelters and served in the Hüttenschänke. After privatisation in 1873, the brewery was used as a carpentry workshop. The old brewery has been privately owned for several years.
