Brewery Broederscha(a)p originated with two friends who, while enjoying a game of petanque one fine summer evening in France, got the idea of brewing beer. As French evenings can also cool down quite a bit, they both wore woollen cardigans. With a nice special beer, a woollen vest and a fine cigar, they became Team Wol.
Back in the Netherlands, brewing beer in the garden was tried as a hobby. And so a hobby became a reality. The beers were taken seriously. There was a course and a meeting with the brewer (Alex) who is now responsible for all the recipes and flavours. The beer caught on and a unique property owned by the owners of the Eenhoorn was allowed to be used with the Hanzedagen (2017) in Kampen.
From July 2020, Team Wol officially became Brewery Broederscha(a)p and stands for brewing with fun, passion and enthusiasm.
