Description

The history of Cervejaria begins in 1995, when its founder Brunhard Borck abandoned the life of a bank employee to invest in a dream. On August 25, 1995, he decided to set up a microbrewery. An invitation takes you to breweries in Hungary. On October 2, 1995 he travels to Europe, where he visits breweries in Verona, Hamburg, Munich and Százhalombatta, acquires the necessary structure. Along with the equipment he tried to bring a master brewer. On May 1, 1996, the equipment arrives from Hungary and on June 26, brewmaster Zoltan Yhaz arrives, without speaking a word in Portuguese. With dictionary in hand and willingness to put the dream into practice, on August 25, 1996 the first tanks of beer are ready. The factory opens on October 4. The novelty attracted connoisseurs of the traditional European beer, full-bodied and of high fermentation, without a similar in Brazil. However, the select group of connoisseurs was not enough to keep the level of production viable. The company changes its formula to a Pilsen type beer and subsequently starts producing the dark Malzbier beer. In 2010, still in the same artisanal and familiar mold, in the same tanks, with a special formula, Cervejaria Borck starts to produce the Weizenbier beer. In December 2013 the production of Borck Red Lager begins and almost 18 years later it starts the process of bottling the beer without pasteurization, and Borck's live beer begins another chapter in its history.
