HOW IT ALL BEGAN ... The Dampfplaudara microbrewery is run by beer enthusiast Martin Kitzler. The hobby of brewing beer began in 2015 - at that time still in Vienna - with a pot, a pasta sieve, a fermentation bottle, the ingredients and a small set of instructions. Interrupted by a longer stay in Bolivia, the company switched to a punch maker in 2016 and continued experimenting and fine-tuning its own recipes. In 2019, the decision was made to convert the former cider cellar in the grandparents' house and convert it into a brewing cellar.
