The story began in 2009, when a Belgian fell in love. He fell in love several times: to his future wife, to the city of Vienna, to the beauty of Austria. Raf Toté moved to Vienna. The homesickness and the professional stress in marketing a large software and hardware company, he met with a new hobby. He brewed beer. The hobby quickly developed into an expansive passion. First the kitchen, then the guest bathroom, and finally the cellar was taken over. Raf experimented, buried himself in literature, trained himself to be a beer sommelier, and talked to brewers countless times. 2015 was the time. Raf quit his job and headed for new shores. THE BELGIAN was born.
