ULMER beer - for the pleasure of enjoyment. This philosophy is the Bauhöfer family brewery's traditional obligation. The history of the brewery begins in 1852 with the founding of a small house brewery by Ludwig Bauhöfer. The quality and unmistakable taste of his beer will soon grow the family business. From 1921, the founder's grandchildren, Gustav, Karl and Eugen Bauhöfer, expanded and modernized the brewery to become a high-performance, competitive company. The family brewery established itself with the qualified businessman Eugen Bauhöfer and the qualified master brewer Gustav Bauhöfer. The course has been set for the future. Because today the young generation with Elisabeth Bauhöfer as brewer and quality manager and her husband Alexander Schneider as master brewer are taking on responsibility. Managing Director and co-partner Siegbert Meier controls the company with care and a lot of experience. Together with authorized signatory Michael Ziegler as marketing manager, the team strives to bring the beer brand to cult status. This has already been achieved with cellar no. 5, a beer that is especially appreciated by the younger generation. In addition, there is a wide range of beers to choose from, which the sales representatives Kurt Moser and Thomas Pilz represent for customers. The management team is also well positioned with authorized signatory Karin Merz in the area of finance and administration. With the help of the 34 employees, the fine cellar-ready Ulm beer specialties are sold today from Karlsruhe to Freiburg and from Freudenstadt to neighboring Alsace. Brewing high-quality beers requires a great deal of skill and experience, even in the most modern brewery - the many medals and awards prove again and again that the Ulm brewers have the right feeling for brewing high-quality top products.
