Since 2004, Bamberg has had a new attraction in the form of the Ambräusianum: a genuine pub brewery. Ambros Michael Mahr and his wife Heike Görmann have successfully fought their way through the first few years, which experience has shown are always the hardest, and have established themselves in the heart of Bamberg.
Both in terms of location and people. More and more Bambergers are proudly taking their visitors to the brewery gem to prove once again how beautiful their world heritage city is. The Ambräusianum is perfectly located for locals and visitors to Bamberg, at the foot of the imperial cathedral, in the middle of Sandstraße (Dominikanerstraße). Once a year, during Bamberg's fifth season, the Sandkerwa, the city's beer tab is also located in the middle of the brewery.
