The Haselberger family is 4 generations under one roof. They live on a typical square in the beautiful Mostviertel. Peter and Bernadette are responsible for fruit production on the farm. Peter, a trained must sommelier, took over the must production in 2015 from his grandfather and combines the old knowledge of the varieties with modern production technology. In addition to musts, quality fruit wines with a state test number and juices, the family also creates various cider specialties. Only fruits from the region are processed for the products, thus preserving the important cultural landscape of the Mostviertel. Only when the fruit is really ripe is it harvested by hand, an intensive effort that characterizes the quality and taste of the products. The family works with nature and so the offer varies depending on the year. Each must impresses with its typical characteristics, which are brought to light using modern cellar technology. The Vierkanter was built centuries ago and the height of Hausck` zu Hauseck` drops by three quarters of a meter. The family wanted to demonstrate this special “weird” property on every bottle, which is why a crooked design was chosen.
