Michael, a passionate beer drinker, became a passionate brewer in his more mature years. He pursues his new vocation with dedication: First, he selects the right hops and the best malt to give the beer its unique flavor. During the subsequent brewing process, each brew is "run" by hand for many hours, tasted and individually hopped. Yeast is then added to the finished boiled and cooled wort and fermentation is started. Barrel fermentation lasts six weeks - and then the brewer receives his reward: he can tap a mug of HopfenMichel with a beautiful head and enjoy a first hearty sip. And if the beer then also tastes good to his guests, that gives him the greatest pleasure!
