Description
May 2017: You put your microbrewery into operation in Schloss Walpersdorf near St. Pölten. They started with Camillo, a light golden ale with only 3.7% vol. Autumn 2017: their second variety, a wit with pink pepper and the catchy name Eleonora, is going into series production. Late autumn 2017: Georg Ludwig, Your Lavender Lime ale appears as the first limited edition. It immediately found its way into the hearts of our customers (and received the seal of approval from Bier IG!) and will therefore remain the 3rd variety in the standard range from now on. Spring 2018: 0.66l bottles for your standard varieties are added to your 0.33l bottles. The "Clownerie" series is launched as a new label for your limited editions. They start with “Clownerie No. 1 - Sesame Roaster Toaster”, a dark ale with sesame. Summer 2018: In addition to your brewery location, we want to breathe fresh beer culture into St. Pölten, the city where you like to live. You are looking for a location for a small shop where you can sell not only your beers but also beers from fellow brewers and will soon find what you are looking for at Herrenplatz, one of the hotspots in St. Pölten's old town. September 20, 2018: Your Hopfenspinnerei #craftbeerforSTP shop opens! They start with a range of around 60 beer specialties that are not listed in any supermarket and are not industrially produced. As an additional offer, you have a 's Fachl corner in your shop! Small producers can easily rent their own sales space here and offer their products, which are mostly handmade, in small series. As a result, in addition to beer, you also have a varied range of jewellery, design, handicrafts and culinary specialties. After the shop in St. Pölten had to close in 2020, a mill was bought in Waidhofen ad Thaya and a completely renovated brewery was built there, which has been brewing the new beers there since autumn 2021.
