The Carmelites Brewery Straubing was founded in 1367. Since 1879 the brewery is family owned. The old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite Monastery are still maintained today by the owners. The vibrant mix of yesterday and today, old and new is increasingly demanded and appreciated beyond the brewery's borders. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturing times are the basis for the excellent taste of their beer specialties.
