Description
Since 2005, the canton of Uri has again a small brewery, almost 110 years after the last two Urner breweries were closed. The brewery also owns the Buena Vista Bar in Altdorf with a large selection of different beers from Germany and abroad. The story of Stiär Biär started in 2005. From an idea quickly became a beer with high recognition among beer lovers in central Switzerland. With the increasing spreading originated need after a professionalization. After the founding of the small brewery Stiär Biär AG in autumn 2008, the brewery on Moosbadweg in Altdorf was opened one and a half years later. Today, the company has a broad base of around 900 shareholders and is firmly anchored in Central Switzerland.
