The Kulturbräu Kreinberg e.V. organised a collaboration brew from 01 to 03 April 20022. The brewer from FIER Craft Beer Manufaktur, Flensburg, Robin Seidel, the experienced hobby brewer Uwe Kunkel from Wolfsburg and the brewer from Kulturbräu Kreinberg Thomas Hölting exchanged their knowledge and experience while brewing a pilot beer. Incidentally, the two brewers who travelled to the brewery spent the night in the guest flat of the Eisenbahner Wohnungsgenossenschaft (EWG).
The three brewers got to know each other last year during a craft brewer certificate course and have since intensified their contacts. Over the past few weeks, they have developed a beer recipe that was brewed together this weekend. The successful event was rounded off with a meal at "Carlos".
The bottom-fermented beer combines traditional elements with new hop varieties. The "URTe", as this pilot beer is called, is full-bodied, strong and caramel-accentuated, but with a fruity flavour of berries and grapefruit. The amber-coloured beer has a reddish shimmer and a soft, stable head.
Members of Kulturbräu Kreinberg e.V. can look forward to the "Dämmerschoppen" in May, when they will have the exclusive opportunity to taste and judge this new beer
