We are two Epicurean brothers, grandsons of farmers and "titi parisiens". We are down to earth and love quality products. After ten years in gastronomy in France and abroad (Nicolas) and ten years in the food industry (Hubert), we have decided to immerse ourselves in the world of beer brewing. As beer lovers since our youth, we appreciate discovering different beers all over France and the world. The taste of craft beers inspires us very quickly. For our pleasure we then go in search of recipes and brewing techniques. We test recipes up to a volume of 20 liters in our parents' garage. A year later, inspired and motivated by our environment, we decide to brew on a larger scale. After various tests and different recipes, we are ready! The brewery "La Bouledogue" sees the light of day at the end of 2015. Why "La Bouledogue" (The Bulldog)? Simply because it is a matter of course for us. Our French bulldog, Earlie, has been involved in all of our brewing processes. As soon as a grain of malt fell, she ate it. She also loves good products... The three of us brewed. We wanted to honor them for their patience and support. In addition, this strong character dog represents our beers well ... with character! After a scientific degree and experience as a hobby brewer, Julien completed a dual apprenticeship between the La Bouledogue brewery and the ENILBIO, which he completed as the best of his year. Julien has been part of the La Bouledogue team since September 2018. All three form an efficient and complementary team!
