Description
The Lüdinghauser Brauwerkstatt is a small local brewery in southern Münsterland. Founded in 2015, the focus is primarily on the artisan character of the brewery. Everything is managed with heart, hand and mind: from crushing the malt, mashing, hopping to pitching the wort with yeast, all work processes are done "by hand". Likewise, these processes are monitored by humans and not machines. The heart of the Lüdinghauser brewery is a compact 140-litre brewhouse, which is used to brew several times a month. For the production of the wort or the beer I only use natural raw materials and no chemical additives. The selection and use of special and different types of malt and hops as well as yeast give each of my beers special, tasty notes, far from the monotony of the "television beer world". "The brewer makes the wort, the yeast makes the beer." In contrast to industrial beer breweries, I give the yeast and the beer what they need: time! After fermentation, the beer matures in cold storage for at least three weeks, which rounds off the taste. The beers are unpasteurized and filtered, which means that live yeast and natural aroma are preserved. I also don't use hop extract - it's hopped through!
