WHY MILLER'S ? My family name is neither "Müller" nor "Miller", but I found "Miller's" to be appropriate. The reason for this is that some people have been jokingly calling me "Mister Miller" for a long time. So if that's the case, then my beer is "Miller's beer". It's logical, isn't it? Historical walls In the small mill in Großkrut, grain was crushed more than 600 years ago. Today it is malted grain - in much smaller quantities, of course - and is used to brew beer. The big step I worked in the IT industry for decades – most of which was self-employed. In 2018 I decided to step away from this industry and do something that gives me significantly more inner satisfaction - something crafty. It's just a great feeling when you can also attack or consume the things you create. You don't have to explain to anyone at length why and why something is like this or different. While there is always a great need for explanation in IT, it is much easier with beer. The motto here is simply "either it tastes good or it doesn't taste good". Everyone can decide that for themselves without the need for an explanation. It's as simple as that. And fortunately there are many excellent breweries in Austria, so there's sure to be something for every taste. A successful start Because my first customers and I liked it right from the start, I continued. The result of my first participation in the Austrian state championship finally confirmed to me that I am obviously on the right track. The lager took 4th place straight away, and the stout took 5th place. When I took part, my primary concern was to get professional feedback. Of course, I was also very happy with the end result...
