Description
The Chäuerbräu team has been brewing the Oberdörfer Chäuerbräu by hand since 2011. Everything came about with a beer idea at the Solothurn Beer Days. The first 20 liter hobby brewing kit was quickly in the house, but the beer did not last long. Today, somewhat larger, around 110 liters per brew and approx. 5000 liters of beer are brewed in 150 liter pans. The laundry room was unmistakably converted into a brewery. Grinding, mixing, fermenting - everything happens in the "Braui" and a cozy get-together over a cool Chäuerbräu is a must. Apart from the Braui, the Oberdörfer is served in the Gasthof Engel, at festivals such as the Oberdörfer Chüubi, Fasnacht, the Solothurn Fairy Fair, birthdays and various other events.
