Description

The roots of the private brewery Falter can be traced back to the year 1649. For over 350 years, brewing has been taking place in the small town of Regen near the Czech border. Elisabeth and Josef Falter uphold Bavarian brewing traditions and the beautiful tradition of horse-drawn carriages. In total, there are more than ten French cold-blooded horses of the "Percheron" breed in the FALTER horse stable. During the summer, when the big beer festival takes place, these black horses are hitched in front of festively loaded wooden beer barrel wagons. They are cheered and admired as they trot through the crowds to the festival tent. The list of awards for Falters beers is extensive. They have won prizes at the European Beer Star and the World Beer Cup, the competition organized in the USA by the Brewers Association.
