More than four centuries of company history. All it takes is the right basic values, a love of the product and the honest quality of the 1516 Purity Law. Speaking of history: it goes back to 1609, when the brand with the knight in its coat of arms was founded by the respected Neumarkt burgher family Schließlberger. The first of several changes of ownership took place in 1727, the last on May 1, 2012, when Severin Quelle Mineralbrunnen from Osterhofen in Bavaria took over the brewery. Mr. Johann and Mrs. Bettina Baumgartner are the managing directors of both companies! In addition to the brewery and the mineral spring, their portfolio also includes 14 of their own specialist beverage stores, the Riba beverage stores!
