Description

They brew the "Original Ritterguts Gose" in close cooperation with the brewery Reichenbrand in Chemnitz. Their choice fell on this small but fine brewery, since it meets all the requirements that are necessary for the optimization of the very special brewing processes. It is particularly pleasing that a classic, open fermentation is possible here, which of course has a particularly positive effect on the taste. The brewery in Reichenbrand has been owned by the Bergt family for the fifth time since 1874. "Class instead of mass!" was the motto from the beginning. And even today, outstanding beer specialties are still produced here in a craft brewing style. Brewmaster Michael Bergt brews the "Original Ritterguts Gose" according to the traditional brewing method and the original Gose recipe. After the Gose sales have continued to grow in recent years - both in the domestic market and, above all, in export - the main concern is to be able to maintain excellent and stable quality even with increasing sales volumes. This is possible because in Reichenbrand you only have three large maturation tanks for the Rittergut Gose and a smaller tank for the seasonal sour-beer specialties - so Gose has enough time to mature in the cold cellars of the brewery, before bottling and bottle is bottled. Goseanna!
