Stobel Bier

We are Peter and Jan. But you could also say Sto and Bel. Because the name for our beer is made up of our surnames. We are two born in Bocholt, who have a long friendship and a passion for good beer. While we were studying, we lived in different places and traveled a lot. We visited a wide variety of places and found time and again that a local beer shapes the identity of a region. Beer creates a feeling of home and brings people together. A local beer has always inspired us to try it and thus brought a place with its residents closer. Bocholt has not yet had such a local beer, but that's exactly what we want to change with Stobel's Keller-Pils! At first it was just a crazy idea, but the thought of a beer for Bocholt never left us, so our plan became more and more concrete. So far, however, we had been more concerned with drinking beer and less with brewing beer, so after the first attempts in the kitchen at home we attended a brewing course in the Niederrhein-Westphalian brewery. There we developed and tried different brews in order to find our own recipe. With a clear idea and the help of our master brewer, we finally came up with the recipe for Stobel's Keller-Pils. The beer will initially be brewed and bottled by a partner, a traditional, artisanal brewery in North Rhine-Westphalia. With your help we are giving Bocholt back our own beer!
