Description

The tanker brewery began with the shared need of three home brewers to make good beer on a larger scale and offer it to others as well. Ryan and Jaanis met in his garage to brew beer together. Since the quantities were small and the friendship great and the message of a good beer spread quickly, the possibility of jointly coordinating the existing equipment was discussed. We quickly realized that there was no point brewing a small amount of beer at once, as the time to brew 50L or 1000L is roughly the same. So we decided to build a brewery big enough to quench the thirst of both our friends and their friends. At the joint events of the home brewers in Tallinn in 2014, the streets of Ryan and Jaani crossed with Antsu. By this time, Ants had developed his own tanker brand, which was operated as a gypsy brewery. The trio soon found a common interest in starting a new brewery, and the search for premises and equipment could begin. It took a little longer to get to your brewery, from ordering the equipment to getting the long-awaited excise warehouse approval in April 2015
