Thorns Wit

Thorns Wit is brewed by two friends from picturesque Thorn. After all, we thought it was high time the little town had its own white beer. And so it happened. At Thorns Wit we exclusively brew white beers. Did you know that witbier is actually a corruption of the word wheat beer? Think 'wheat', 'weiß' and 'weit' in old Dutch. Wheat is the main ingredient linking white beers. You also often find coriander and orange in white beer. You can vary endlessly with white beer. We like to brew with special herbs and aromatic hops. We currently have four beers on the market. One light white beer with a firm body, a soft white tripel, a Weizen and a White IPA.
