In 2021, the Köstlan brewery from Brixen with all its know-how was taken over by four entrepreneurs from the Eisack Valley. A new brand - Viertel Bier - has been created. The brewery's new location is the Putzer in Schabs, which, like the Alte Schlachthof in Brixen, belongs to this group.
