We at Weisse Elster develop our recipes in Leipzig and brew in family breweries in the region: Our bottled beers are made in the Reichenbrand brewery in Chemnitz, our special brews on barrel in the Röglitz brewery near Halle. The following flavors are currently available on the bottle: Pilsener: intensely hopped with a sweet malt note Pale Ale: hopped with Cascade and Citra Citra Lager: summer-fresh lager with Citra hopped Red Ale: malty-fruity with red malt and fruity hops. The draft beers are available in Leipzig pubs such as Goldhopfen and Subbotnik, and at various street food events. Our beers are not filtered and are traditionally brewed with open fermentation and cold aging.
