Wiegenbräu

WIEGENBRÄU was founded in the shadow of the Malakow tower of the Alte Haase colliery in Sprockhövel, the cradle of Ruhr mining, where mining got its start. Within sight of the colliery, a variety of brews were created in our small brewery, from which our varieties LandBier, KellerBier and StollenBier, developed over the years. Our beers are hand-brewed, naturally cloudy and unfiltered. We give our beers time and rest. Due to the long and cold storage the natural carbonic acid is formed and all valuable components, vitamins and proteins are preserved. Our Sprockhövel beers are brewed with passion.
