Description
The Zwarte Parochie arose out of a hobby. Brewing beer at home just because you can. More and more people are interested in specialty beers, and let's face it: it just tastes better. Through the hobby I saw a gap in Almelo. Why doesn't Almelo have its own brewery? I found out from the internet that there actually was one in the Brouwerijstraat. So I thought, "We have to do something about this!" Let's take steps to convert people to the specialty beer faith. Can an Almeloer be proud of their own local beer? I think so! And I hope that many will join this beer community. A community that believes we can do it in our black and white city too!
