Beer has been brewing again in Zwönitz, a tranquil town in the middle of the Ore Mountains, since 1997. After 75 years of abstinence, the old craft tradition of brewing beer was revived there. Dominik Naumann, owner and master brewer of the Zwönitz brewery, took over the family business from his father in 2011 and has since made it his mission to combine the long brewing tradition of his Saxon homeland with the experimentation of a craft brewer.
