Polly's - Ella From Down Under

Much like some of our classic beers from years gone by, the best beer names just sometimes come from an ism that gets uttered in the brewery during our day to day. In the same vein as Everything Works Again and Trying to Connect, Ella From Down Under was born from our weekly sensory meetings and a (to us anyway) hilarious inability to remember where Australia was when discussing South Pacific hop varieties. As soon as the phrase came out of our to remain unnamed staff member’s mouth we knew we had a beer on our hands, and it was just a case now of how to execute it. Obviously we’re utilising the namesake in this beer, with a hefty lashing of our Australian wonderhop being used in abundance to bring with it a tropical bouquet of grapefruit,
