Heller-Bräu Trum - Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Fastenbier 2018

The vintage version (2018) of Fastenbier. Specially bottled and stored for three years in the rock cellars beneath Stephansberg. Aecht Schlenkerla Fastenbier is an unfiltered smoked beer brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. The bottom-fermented yeast gives the reddish light brown Fastenbier a slight natural cloudiness. Its smoky aroma is already noticeable in the smell and is accompanied by a noble hop note. On the palate, the full-bodied, smooth Fastenbier unfolds a strong malt aroma, which is rounded off by the smoky taste and subtle bitterness in the finish.
